FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Ashley Parker, 34, died on May 4 following complications during childbirth, according to family members. Her newborn son, Wyatt, survived and remains in neonatal intensive care.

Parker’s death has left her husband, Eric, and their three children — Brody, Owen, and newborn Wyatt — mourning a sudden and unexpected loss.

Family members said the delivery, which had been anticipated as a time of celebration, took a tragic turn during labor. Hospital officials have not released additional medical details, and no formal cause of death has been publicly disclosed.

Friends and relatives described Parker as a devoted mother and wife who was deeply involved in her children’s daily life and family routines. She lived in Fayetteville, where she was known within her community for her strong ties to family and friends.
