FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Commuters along the Merritt Parkway faced widespread delays today after a series of crashes disrupted traffic across multiple sections of Route 15.

State police responded to several collision scenes throughout the morning and afternoon, with incidents reported in both directions of travel. In some areas, lanes were temporarily closed while emergency crews assisted drivers and worked to clear damaged vehicles.
